Ko tas nozīmē
There is no single useful "average adult weight", because a healthy weight depends heavily on height. The bands above come from the body-mass-index (BMI) healthy range of 18.5 to 24.9, applied at each height: weight in kilograms divided by height in metres squared.
BMI is a population screening tool, not a verdict on any one person. It does not distinguish muscle from fat, so very muscular people can read as "overweight" while being lean, and it works less well for some ethnic groups, older adults and athletes. Use it as a rough guide and look at waist size, fitness and how you feel alongside it.
If your weight sits outside the band for your height and you want to change it, steady changes — a modest daily calorie difference, more protein and more movement — outlast crash approaches.

What is a healthy BMI?
A BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 is the range usually described as healthy for adults. Below 18.5 is classed as underweight and 25 or above as overweight, but BMI is a rough screening tool, not a diagnosis.
Why is there no single average weight?
Because weight only makes sense next to height. A healthy weight for someone 160 cm tall is very different from one for someone 185 cm tall, which is why a range by height is more useful than one number.
